The Slug by AKRYPT is a multi-mode, multi-function lighting device designed to deliver both a high-performance flashlight and a reliable visibility marker, serving as a modern alternative to traditional chemlights. Compact and highly versatile, it is the ideal everyday carry (EDC) solution, providing instant illumination and enhanced visibility wherever required.
Engineered for professional use, The Slug functions not only as a personal light source but also as a tactical marker for room clearing, area marking, and movement guidance during operations. Its integrated lanyard loop further enhances functionality, enabling effective signaling in demanding military and law enforcement environments.

The Slug is equipped with four integrated lighting modes:

- Red Tube Light
- Green Tube Light
- Amber Tube Light
All modes are easily accessed through the power button toggle.

Buzzsaw Marking:
Equipped with a secure lanyard attachment and included lanyard, the Slug enables high-visibility buzzsaw signaling for search and rescue, military, or emergency roles. From ground-to-air identification to land and sea operations, users can rely on a simple yet effective tool that communicates presence and urgency.
Search Capability:
Despite its compact size, the Slug delivers a powerful, directed white light beam. Ideal for close-quarters searches or illuminating specific areas, it gives users confidence and visibility in critical moments—without the bulk of traditional flashlights.
Room Clearing:
Designed as a modern alternative to the chemlight, the Slug offers hands-free deployment with its inbuilt magnet. Attach it to metal surfaces for instant, visible marking during room clearing or tactical operations, reducing setup time and increasing efficiency.
Safety Marking:
The Slug enhances on-scene visibility and safety for first responders and professionals. Law enforcement, EMTs, firefighters, and tow operators can quickly attach the device to vehicles or equipment, ensuring they remain seen in hazardous or low-light environments.
